AFN Welcomes New Director of Programs and Operations


cassondra-taylor-photoThe Austin Free-Net Board of Directors are excited to welcome Cassondra Taylor to join the organization as the new Director of Programs and Operations.

The Director of Program & Operations (DP&O) is responsible for ensuring that all program, training, public access, labs, facilities, front office, and volunteer management systems are developed and implemented to promote and achieve targeted goals, and meet Austin Free-Net objectives.  The DP&O is also accountable for ensuring that all program and training staff, and operational volunteers are recruited, screened, and trained for their positions; for ensuring compliance reporting is accurate and timely to meet funders specifications; and partner relations, various community groups, and other related agencies for collaborative purposes.
Cassondra holds a BS in Engineering and English, an MBA in Marketing and International Business and a Project Management Professional certification to name a few.
Thanks to Austin Free-Net’s partnership with the City of Austin’s Digital Inclusion Initiative, IBM and Google Fiber, we served 621 students last year. Our goal this program year is 800.
