Harry Quinn, a former student of our Getting It Done Program at the Austin Resource Center for the Homeless (ARCH), is now working at a local law firm. He is responsible for data entry in the international immigration department. When he started the Getting It Done program he was homeless and had minimal computer skills. Our program trainer helped Harry achieve his goal of mastering basic computer skills and finding gainful employment. Even after Harry found his current position, he would come back to our computer lab in the mornings before going to work to continue developing his computer skills. He was excited to learn file management procedures and how to use office software. Recently, he visited the ARCH computer lab to proudly inform our trainer that he is living comfortably in his very own furnished apartment! Congratulations Harry!
